Delete your account
- Sign in to ShowFloor.
- Open Your data (Profile → Your data).
- Press Delete account and confirm it's you (with your password, if your account has one).
This removes your account, profile, Card Back, social accounts (Instagram included), messages and the rest of your personal information straight away. Photos you uploaded or copied from Instagram are removed from storage within 7 days. Tickets you bought stay valid for the show, without your name or email. Backups age out within 90 days.
Delete only your Instagram data
When you use Log in with Instagram (to verify your account or copy your profile picture), we read your Instagram username and profile picture once. We keep only:
- that your Instagram account is verified, and when;
- a copy of your profile picture, only if you chose to use it and saved it.
We never store your Instagram access token or password, and we don't read your posts, messages or followers. To remove it:
- On your profile, clear the Instagram field and save. That deletes the account and its verification.
- Upload a different photo, or remove it. The Instagram copy is deleted from storage within 7 days.
- In Instagram, go to Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites and remove ShowFloor. That stops ShowFloor from signing you in with Instagram again until you allow it.
Ask us to do it
Can't sign in, or want us to handle it? Email privacy@showfloor.me from the address on your account and say whether you want your whole account or only your Instagram data deleted. We may ask you to confirm it's you, and we'll confirm by email when it's done, within 30 days.
